Credit Controller

We have an excellent opportunity to join our personable and hard working Abco Kovex credit control team as a credit controller, taking responsibility for the credit management of customer accounts. Working in a fast paced environment and reporting to the financial director.

Responsibilities:

  • To carry out daily credit control procedures ensuring overdue debts and bad debts are kept to a minimum to include building up relationships with our customers by phone and email.
  • Accurately monitoring customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure the company’s credit control policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • The processing and resolving of daily customer accounts queries and issues e.g. copying invoices/statements etc.
  • Ensure credit checks are completed and appropriate credit limits set per customer account
  • Release orders according to our credit policy
  • Liaise with sales team to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts
  • Post and allocate receipts correctly and promptly.
  • Reconciling of all accounts on a monthly basis
  • Maintain all files and documentation to a high standard
  • Prepare monthly analysis of outstanding debts and report to financial director as required
  • Participation in ongoing evaluation and enforcement of policies and procedures with regards to the Credit Control Department
  • Meet Cash and Debtor Day targets as set out by the company plan
  • Multi- Currency Ledger
  • General accounting and administration duties when required

Candidates must possess:

  • Educated to Leaving Cert Standard or equivalent
  • Minimum two years experience in Credit Control
  • Experience of working with SAP B1 and Excel would be an advantage
  • A relevant or related financial qualification would be a distinct advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A good degree of self-motivation
  • Good phone manner is essential

Assistant Accountant

We have a great opportunity to join our personable and hard working Abco Kovex finance team as Assistant Accountant, taking responsibility for the management of our Creditors Ledger and other various tasks. Working in a fast paced environment and reporting to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

  • To carry out daily processing of supplier invoices in multi-currencies. Dealing with queries. Reconciling accounts and processing payments. Scanning of documents.
  • Online banking and reconciliations of company bank accounts in multi-currencies.
  • Management and processing of company credit card billing.
  • Participation in ongoing evaluation and enforcement of policies and procedures with regards to the Accounts Payable Department.
  • Meet month end and reporting deadlines.
  • Assist with the completion of payroll.
  • Assist in the management of stocktaking.
  • General accounting and administration duties when required.

Candidates must possess:

  • Third level I.A.T.I. or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two year’s experience in Creditor’s Ledger AP.
  • Experience of working with SAP B1, Micropay and Excel would be an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent phone manner is essential.

Receive inbound material and allocates it to stock. Operate assemblies from in-house production.  Picking stock and delivering it to production or shipping. Perform periodic inventory counts. May assist in packing, shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities:
